The Circle

We were never meant to mother alone.

Welcome to The Circle

A Space for Community

Motherhood is meant to be shared—in nature, in community, and in the presence of those who truly understand. The Circle is a space to reconnect, find support, and build meaningful relationships with other mothers, all while your child plays freely in the beauty of the outdoors.

The Circle is a weekly, nature-based playgroup and mothers’ gathering designed to bring you back to the way motherhood should feel—supported, seen, and connected to both community and the natural world.

Where: A beautiful outdoor space in Richmond, VA (exact location provided upon registration).

Motherhood in All Its Forms

At Mother Oak, we honor the many paths to motherhood. The Circle is a community for those navigating the journey of motherhood in all its forms. We welcome all who identify with motherhood, including transgender women, non-binary parents, and genderqueer caregivers. Here, we hold space for every experience, fostering connection, support, and shared wisdom.

Have Questions? Let’s Answer Them!

What to Expect

The Circle is a space for mothers to gather in nature, connect through deep, meaningful conversations, and embrace the rhythm of the seasons. Meeting in the same location each week, we build a sense of belonging while observing the natural world’s shifts.

Conversations are guided by seasonal themes—rooted in astrology, lunar cycles, and Waldorf festivals—shaped by what matters most to you. While you connect, your little ones engage in child-led, nature-based play.
